Regional Tournaments

At the end of the official building season, teams have the opportunity to come together to celebrate their accomplishments of the FLL season with teams from around their state or region at an Official Tournament. The tournaments are exciting, colorful, and bursting with energy! They are well run and have distinguished guests, parents, and coaches as well as intense and playful students, judges, and referees in black and white striped shirts. There are Opening and Closing ceremonies, really cool trophies and team T-shirts with personalized logos and team colors.

Teams are recognized for excellence in various aspects of the team process with the highest honor, the Director's Award, going to the team that best exemplifies the true meaning of FLL and FIRST.

There are six South Carolina FLL Regional Qualifying Tournaments planned for the 2006-2007 season. FLL teams must compete in one of the six South Carolina FLL Regional Qualifying Tournaments to qualify for the 2006-2007 South Carolina FLL State Tournament.

There are six Tournaments held around the state:

• Aiken High School - December 2
• Low Country State Regional - January 13
• Clemson/Upstate - January 13
• Midlands Technical College - January 13
• Marion/Florence/Darlington - December 9
• York Technical College - December 1
