FIRST LEGO League has a long history in South Carolina. Starting from the gymnasium at Seneca Middle School, the program has expanded greatly over the years. Here is a brief synopsis of seasons past in South Carolina FLL:

While South Carolina's involvement with FLL goes back a long way, it doesn't go back quite that far. FLL was still in its infancy, with two tournaments in 1998 and nine in 1999; none of these were held in South Carolina.
